Meet Our Leadership

Clint Leavitt

PASTOR

Clint is a born and raised Phoenician. He graduated from Grand Canyon University with a BA in English and earned his Master of Arts in Theology from Fuller Theological Seminary, focusing much of his degree on the interplay between theology and culture. He is passionate about the power of stories and how they connect to human spirituality, and thus is a film and literature fanatic. He also loves playing, watching, and creating all types of sports, remaining regularly active as much as possible. He and his wife, Emily, have been attending our congregation since Summer 2018; they love to travel, and are always fans of new restaurants, activities, drinks, and adventures. Clint and Emily live in North Central Phoenix.

Steven Lufkin

DIRECTOR OF WORSHIP

Steven is a Phoenix native. He began playing music in 6th grade and graduated high school from Arizona School for the Arts in 2011. From age 13 his love for music drove him to gig around town at local restaurants and by age 15 he began writing his own songs. Growing up in a Christian household instilled a value for faith within him but it didn't become a personal relationship until age 18. Around this time he began his worship leading journey where he served on and off for 10 years as a worship leader in various contexts at Living Streams Church in north Phoenix. At 24 he began to write songs under the artist name LOVKN. As he released his songs of faith and musical prayers online, his music began to attract a global audience. He has since travelled extensively around the US and abroad playing shows and hosting worship events. Though his artistry keeps his travel schedule quite full, Steven has held a high value for the local church. In 2020 he began attending Midtown with his now wife, Elita. Over the following few years he stepped into the role as worship director and has loved every moment of the opportunity to serve such a wonderful community.

Daniel is a born and raised Phoenician who isn't shy about letting you know how much he loves the city. He graduated from Boise State University with a BBA in Marketing and is currently pursuing a Master of Arts in Biblical and Theological Studies from Western Seminary in Portland. He started attending Midtown in 2022 after being particularly inspired by the missional heart of the church. Outside of Midtown, you can likely find Daniel at the dojo. He has been studying Japanese karate for 20 years and still actively competes in national and international competitions with Team USA. You're also likely to find him in the kitchen where he enjoys cooking up his family's classic Italian recipes.

She and her husband are raising 3 amazing humans, embracing the opportunities for growth and moving towards health all along the way. The Keck family lives in a Midtown Phoenix neighborhood.
